Last year, 838 families applied to the Christmas Bureau for assistance, and thanks to the generous monetary donations of individuals, businesses and organizations, these families were provided with a gift card for each child for toys and a gift card for food for each family.
We are pleased to announce that once again we will be resuming our program of food hampers and toys for those families who register with us for assistance. Applicants who are not sponsored by organizations, businesses and individuals will receive food vouchers and gifts directly from the Langley Christmas Bureau.
Sponsors are expected to have hampers delivered on or before Tuesday, December 12, 2023. We ask that all Sponsors make contact with their adopted families by December 6th, and set a delivery date/time.
Guidelines for Christmas Food Hampers
The Langley Christmas Bureau offers suggestions for inclusion in Christmas food hampers. Our hope is that the hampers provide all the trimmings for a hearty Christmas dinner as well as extra food for the holiday season. Note: Please check the expiry dates on canned goods.
