2. Q: Will I receive and income tax receipt?
   With an donation of $10.00 or more a receipt will be mailed to you.
   
   
3. Q: What items can I drop off at the Christmas Bureau?
   Unwrapped NEW toys
   New clothing for children up to the age of 18
   Non-perishable food items
   Gift certificates.
   
   Toys can also be dropped off at our Gifts for Kids booth located in the Willowbrook Shopping Centre, 19705 Fraser Highway, Langley or the Langley Advance at Suite 112-6375 202 St. Langley.

1. Q: How do I apply to sponsor a family?
   Fill out and submit the form on the “Sponsor” page of our website.
   Phone the Christmas Bureau at 604-530-3001
   Or in person at 20178 56th Ave.
   
   
2. Q: How much does it cost to sponsor a family?
   
   

   Family Size	Expected Cost
   2	$200 - $250
   3	$250 - $350
   4	$350 - $450
   5	$400 - $550
   5-7	$500 - $750
   7 or more	$700+

   
   
3. Q: How will I know what to buy for my family?
   You will receive a “profile” of your family with their first name, gender and ages. You can refer to “Sponsor a family” as well as “Guidelines for Hampers”.
   
   
4. Q: Do I contact my family?
   Yes, you give them a call to make arrangements to deliver the hamper. We ask that the hamper be deliver no later than Saturday December 22, 2007.
   
   
5. Q: Can I specify the size and children’s ages of the family I wish to sponsor?
   We will assign you a family no larger than the size that you request. If you have requests regarding age or gender of the children, we will attempt to accommodate you request but can not guarantee it.
   

CLIENTS

1. Q: Who is eligible to apply?
   
   - You have to be a resident of the City of Langley or Langley Township.
   - We ask that you provide two pieces of identification showing your current Langley address. (Telus, cable, etc.)
   - Your children may be from newborn to those still attending high school.
   - You must provide Care Cards for each eligible member of the family.
   
   
2. Q: How do I sign up to receive assistance?
   You must apply in person at the Langley Christmas Bureau Office located at 20178 56th Ave. (56 & 201A).
   
   Hours of operation are:
   
   - Mon – Fri 10:00am to 4:00pm
   - Thurs. 10:00am to 7:00pm
   - Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
   
   
3. Q: What can a client expect to receive?
   
   The gift certificates will be given out at our 56th Ave location on the same day as the Toy Depot
   Dec 12th, 13th & 14th

• A $40.00 gift certificate per child
  • The gift certificate can be used at the following 3 locations:  Zellers, The Bay and Home Outfitters.
  • The gift certificates will be given out at our 56th Ave location on December 12, 13 & 14th, 2007.
  • These gift certificates are as good as cash, if they are lost or stolen the Christmas Bureau will not replace them.
    
    
• A food hamper, either from a sponsor or the Langley Christmas Bureau.
  • The hamper will be deliver on or before Saturday, December 22, 2007.
    
    
• Each child is eligible to receive 1 large gift, 1 small gift and a few stocking stuffers.
  • Parents who have registered with us can choose  these gifts at our Toy Depot being held on December 12, 13 & 14th at our location at 20178 56th Ave.
